Coaching Experience: 7 years at RHS. 4th year as JV head Coach, and 3 years on Varsity staff.
Interests/Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. I spend time outdoors fly fishing, camping, riding my road bike, skiing, running, hiking, golfing, and swimming. I have competed in a handful of triathlons and road bike races. My beautiful wife, Allison, is my biggest supporter! She loves football and spending time at the games. We are expecting our first baby boy any day now and can’t wait to have a little addition to the Huskie staff. We also have two dogs, Kalea & Sumo. They keep us busy and we love spending time with them. In my free time, I am a math teacher at Reno High. I am going into my 9th year teaching Algebra and Geometry at the best high school in the state! I love my job and love coaching. GO HUSKIES!
What is your most memorable coaching experience at Reno High School?: Watching the 2003 team win the State Championship at Mackay Stadium. I was a student teacher at Reno HS at the time and knew I had to be a part of this program. The following year I got a teaching job, and was offered a coaching position on the Varsity staff. Great way to start my coaching career!
